"Out of the ashes, into the Mall!" It's Black Friday at your local CostCo, or "ShopMo," when a global apocalypse forces all shoppers to quarantine. A Pageant Queen, a Conspiracy Theorist, an Environmentalist, a Doctor, a Marine, and a Drunk take refuge from Online Shopping Zombies or "Cyber Zoms." Amidst power struggles and budding romances, these monstrously talented shoppers sing and dance their way through Armageddon. However, tensions rise as supplies dwindle, until their only hope for survival is to escape to the American Dream Mall. When our very existence is threatened, can we join together and learn from past mistakes? Can we forego instant gratification to preserve the future? Or will we just go shopping? |

BLACK FRIDAY isn't like any musical you've ever seen.
An interactive & immersive experience, this is new theatrical experience for adventurous audiences. With hook-laden alt/pop songwriting, BLACK FRIDAY's creators draw on influences as wide-ranging as Depeche Mode and Michael Jackson, all the way to Little Shop of Horrors. WARNING: This show contains adult language, sexual content, nudity, violence, and drug use… All the fun stuff. |

Robyn Cage:
Composer, Lyricist, Librettist Robyn Cage is a singer, songwriter, actress, and self-professed shopaholic. A graduate of The Boston Conservatory with a BFA in Musical Theatre, she went on to become an accomplished actress in NYC, where her performances earned praise from The New York Times and Variety. Cage’s powerful and emotive vocals and impassioned live performances have enthralled audiences nationwide, as a soloist with the Boston POPS in Boston’s Symphony Hall, to thousands at outdoor festivals, to the prestigious singer-songwriter circuit in NYC. When her interests turned to creating original music, she travelled to Los Angeles to record with Grammy-nominated producers Dan Burns (Michelle Branch) and Darryl Neudorf (Sarah McLachlan, Neko Case). Cage’s debut album "Born in the Desert" was named one of the Top Albums of 2015 by I’m Music Magazine and topped the list of Best New Music Critiques of 2015 by Music Connection Magazine. Her sophomore album "Slow The Devil" was named Best Indie Album of 2018 by Scorpius Magazine. In 2022, Cage released a two-part album: "Lovers & Monsters” + "A Million Years of Stone.” Cage's songs have been featured in Tyler Perry’s “Nobody’s Fool” starring Whoopi Goldberg and Tiffany Haddish, the official trailer for "FRIES! The Movie" with Malcom Gladwell, MTV’s "16 and Pregnant,” and numerous commercials. Cage has toured internationally with Brit Floyd (The World's Greatest Pink Floyd Show), with The Airplane Family (alumni of Jefferson Airplane/Starship, and The Grateful Dead) singing the Grace Slick repertoire, and with her own band. Currently, Cage is touring with Brit Floyd and developing her new BLACK FRIDAY musical for the stage. In her free time, she loves skiing, mountain biking, and of course... shopping. 
Callie Crofts & Zac Bryant (Nine Moon Audio):
Music Production, Orchestration, Arranging By night, songwriter and bassist Callie Crofts and drummer Zac Bryant are two halves of the edgy and cerebral electropop duo Die Shiny. By day, they are the music production partners behind Nine Moon Audio, a full production music studio at the couple’s home in Utah Valley. The prolific pair have been creating music together since 2010, in which time they’ve produced several albums in multiple projects and even reached top-ten status on Billboard charts. Nine Moon Audio harnesses the couple’s combined history of creative work in the worlds of Alternative and Progressive Rock, Folk, Americana, Pop, and Indie Electronica. With ample experience as live and studio instrumentalists on the drums, guitar, bass and synthesizers - alongside full production skills in recording, mixing and mastering - there is little in the world of modern music that this powerful team can’t accomplish. |
