Behind The SCENES...
Set in a post-apocalyptic wasteland, “Fallout” was filmed in at an old abandoned salt mine near the Great Salt Lake in Utah.
Throughout the video, my band members (my crazy talented friends Callie Crofts & Zac Bryant) and I undergo a gruesome transformation…
Director Bryce Johnson combines beautiful desert scenery with increasingly morbid imagery for a delightfully grotesque video.
While we had FAR too much fun filming this video (check out the behind-the-scenes video),
the song itself came from a very raw emotional source. I wrote this song in the aftermath of a devastating fight,
while I was wondering how the relationship would survive, and the songwriting process was deeply cathartic and healing.
It’s one of my favorites from the album.
