Our journey is over, and in many ways, we are right back where we started, but different. We are not the same.
Together we have become wiser, stronger, happier.
Today, we celebrate! Tomorrow, who knows where our dreams will take us?

“Flying Machine” was the first song I wrote on my desert songwriting sabbatical, in which I stayed in the remote Southern Utah desert for a week with no phone, no internet or cell service, and only a ukulele and a battery-powered keyboard.
I learned to play the ukulele in order to write happy songs. The piano tends to lend itself to dramatic ballads…
