"Burning Now" Music Video
Robyn Cage’s ethereal yet powerful soprano and impassioned live performances have dazzled audiences from Boston’s Symphony Hall, to thousands at outdoor festivals, and the prestigious and intimate singer-songwriter circuit in New York City. Born in the Utah desert as Robyn Kemp, she went on to study at The Boston Conservatory and become an accomplished actress in NYC, where her performances earned praise from The New York Times and Variety. When Robyn came to a crucial turning point in her life, she migrated back to her desert birthplace and was creatively and soulfully reawakened as Robyn Cage, a transcendent alternative-pop artist with an entrancing, and authentic yet theatrical, artistic sensibility. Her debut album Born in the Desert (2015) was named one of the 35 Top Albums of 2015 by I’m Music Magazine and topped the list of 25 Best New Music Critiques of 2015 by Music Connection Magazine. For the album, Robyn teamed up with two-time Grammy-nominated Producer Darryl Neudorf (Neko Case, Sarah McLachlan) to record “Burning Now”, then headed to L.A. to work with Grammy-nominated and Juno Award-winning Producer Dan Burns (Rachael Yamagata, Lenka, Michelle Branch). The album delivers an indelible message: Embrace your uniqueness, and love that what makes you different.

“Brilliant, piano-led character study and cautionary tales of mismatched desire. Fantastic writing across all the songs, and a real skill for the melodramatic and haunting chorus. Superb vocal work, too!”
"There’s a dreamy, sultry quality to Robyn Cage’s vocals and style of music - sort of a cross between classic piano rock with a near-Vaudevillian undertone. It’s quirky without being gimmicky and relays a personal touch that’s immediately endearing."
"A Top-Notch Find! Wonderful songwriting that takes the right amount of risk to sound different but wonderfully so."
"Enjoying the lush vocals and the imagery in the lyrics. The vaudevillian feel is a great theme and works very well. What a huge vocal in Theatre Noir!"
- Joe Rosati, Singer-Songwriter
"Beautiful Voice! A careful blend of music with a raw sounding vocal attached. Robyn clearly is a talent to watch out for."
